We know that without you and your commitment to our cause we would not be able to reach as many families as we do. No matter how small or big the donation, every little bit helps. Your contribution makes a difference in the lives of hundreds of families across Southern Africa.

At Ikhaya Le Themba we have recognized that there are a large number of South Africans in dire need of assistance. Our organization looks at supporting and uplifting the community by offering physical, spiritual as well as emotional support.

We believe "meet a practical need and you will have a spiritual harvest". Our passion is to empower communities to meet practical needs while sharing the gospel. We invest intentionally in the next generation by assisting communities to create "Safe Zones" for children to participate in fun outreach programs where the gospel of Jesus Christ and meals are shared.

Part of our Our Enterprise development program looks at job creation and helps previously unemployed community members provide an income for themselves and their families.

All donations made to Ikhaya Le Themba are exempt from donations tax and qualify the donor for deductions from taxable income in accordance with the income tax act 58 of 1962.

If you give more than R100 per annum, you can receive a Section 18A tax certificate enabling you to claim a deduction from personal or corporate taxable income.

Tax certificates are issued in March at the end of the financial year unless requested earlier.

Donor deductibility applies to cash donations and donations in kind.

When you submit the receipt with your annual income tax return, you can get up to a maximum deduction of 10% of your annual taxable income or R100 000 (whichever is greater). To read more about PBO and Section 18A criteria, log on to the SARS website.

ILT is well structured to issue relevant documentation for Corporate Donations. More than 95% of our beneficiaries are Black South African nationals according to the Codes of Good Practice.
