Our handcrafted weighted blankets are made in the Boland, a region of the Western Cape province of South Africa from upcycled yarn material. The fabric can be washed in a luke warm or cold wash cycle and it tumble dries perfectly every time! Natural fabric colour may fade over time.

Weighted blankets are a type of at-home therapy that can provide similar benefits to deep pressure therapy.

These blankets have shown positive results for several conditions, including autism, ADHD, and anxiety.

They can help calm a restless body, reduce feelings of anxiety, and improve sleep troubles.

Recent studies have shown that it is bene cial for Covid “Longhaulers” to use weighted blankets to help with restlessness and disturbed sleeping patterns.

Please note that it is not advisable for a child under 3 years of age or weighing less than 22kg to use the blanket.
